THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER
For years, players in Northwest Indiana have had to drive hours to find a facility that takes baseball and softball seriously. That changes soon.
Homefield – Northwest Indiana’s first dedicated indoor baseball and softball training facility – is opening its doors in Dyer, IN, and we’re ready to show you what “built for the game” really means.
WHAT IS HOMEFIELD?
Homefield isn’t a multi-sport complex trying to do everything. We’re not a trampoline park with a batting cage tucked in the corner. We’re not a gym that happens to have a pitching tunnel.
We are a dedicated baseball and softball facility – and that focus makes all the difference.
Every cage, every infield, every square foot of turf was designed with one goal in mind: helping players at every level get better.
WHAT’S INSIDE
Spread across 26,000+ square feet of professional turf, Homefield is built to handle everything from solo skill work to full team practices:
- 7 batting cages with advanced pitching machines
- 3 auto-pitch cages, including HitTrax – the real-time data system that tracks exit velocity, launch angle, distance, and more
- 2 dedicated pitching tunnels (10′ × 50′)
- 2 full 90′ × 90′ infields for team practices, camps, and clinics
- 6,000+ sq ft of additional turf building space
- Open turf for drills and conditioning
And because we’re indoors, we’re open year-round – any weather, any season.

WHO IS HOMEFIELD FOR?
Whether you’re a youth player working on fundamentals, a high schooler grinding for a roster spot, or a team looking for a professional-grade space to practice – Homefield was built for you.
Individual players get access to cage time, pitching machines, HitTrax data, and open turf. Teams and groups get full infields, dedicated scheduling, and space built to run real practices, camps, and clinics.
No waiting. No sharing space with pickleball courts. Just baseball and softball, done right.
